Admission Guidelines to Study in UK

United Kingdom, undeniably, is world’s popular student favorite destination. Over more than 3 decades, the country has been at the top in welcoming students from all over the world to take up higher education to a next level.
Students planning to apply for admission in UK’s universities and colleges must follow the following guidelines:

  • In case of inquiries related to studying in UK, the applicants must send the letter of inquiry to the concerned university/college at least 12 months before the date of commencement. Though the universities in UK do not have any specific ‘last date’, it is advisable to submit application before a certain date which may vary with fields and institutions. The students must also be prepared with every necessary document required since the level of competence is quite high and the chances of getting scholarships and grants decrease with the rise in applications.
  • If the applicants are wishing to study in UK at bachelor’s or master’s level in a specific subject, they must represent a foreign educational qualification or an equivalent qualification received at highly ranked university from your home country. Universities where US or Canada’s marking scheme is applied, the required grade point average is at least 3.0
  • To strengthen your chances and broaden your options to study abroad in UK, you have to take international standardized test such as IELTS with at least grade 6 or above; at least grade C in Cambridge Advanced English Test; or a minimum of 550 scores in TOEFL.
